Our common passion for gastronomy comes from the love of Volterra cuisine and from our roots, to convey an identity that brings back the authentic flavors that our grandmothers taught us with care.
Thanks to them our dishes become the protagonists of our culture, thanks to the passion for cooking for more than 40 years. This makes us a close-knit staff.

All our dishes are born from the classic processing of top quality raw materials, guaranteed by the origin at km 0 and the vegetables come from local and artisanal suppliers.
Ingredients and raw materials are the real pride of our restaurant, in fact we prefer products from farms and farms in the area, to let you savor the authentic flavors of our land.
In our restaurant we serve those dishes that are born from our love and our passion for cooking. They are all prepared with raw materials that we purchase directly from local producers in our splendid Volterra.

The "Antica Taverna" restaurant
The interior of our restaurant has exposed brick walls and simple furnishings that give the room a warm atmosphere. On the walls there is a large mirror and some brightly colored paintings by local artists.
The welcoming room is particularly lighted by a large window overlooking the external “terrace”. If you come to visit us during the summer you can have lunch or dinner in our “outdoor room” embraced by vases of flowers.
We bring Volterra’s gastronomic culture to the table, which has its roots in the tradition of this splendid city. Our “Antica Taverna” Restaurant is ideal for both lunch and dinner.
